This post is the walkthrough on how to give access to your google analytics account.

Sharing username/Gmail and passwords with people, partners, coworkers and vendors is *not* the best practice for internet safety and security. And is the fastest way to lose access.

Fortunately, Google allows us a safe and simple method to give access to Google Analytics accounts.

How to Give Access to Google Analytics Account

1) Open your Google Analytics account and point your mouse at the bottom to the gear icon *Admin* name #1. The admin is at the bottom of the left-hand column.

2) A new window opens and you must click on *Account Access Management* #2.

3) Another new window opens. Click the blue *+* on the top right.

4) Click the blue *+* #4 and then ‘Add users’.

5) Add the Gmail address of the person, partners, coworkers or vendor you want to give access to. #5 type the Gmail address of the person. Choose the desired permission level, #6 and click *add* #7.

Success! You’ve now added a user to your Google Analytics account.

6) Under account permissions we see the new user is added, their Gmail address and their permission level granted

7) In the Gmail account of the person you are granting access they will receive this message.

How to Remove Access to your Google Analytics Account

9) Go to the Admin section, step 1 above. Click on *Account Access Management*. Tick the user you would like to remove and click #13 remove.
