1) Social Media Marketing
Facebook updates Messenger allow people to send money to friends via the app. This feature is clearly a move by Facebook to move into the banking space.
Today we’re adding a new feature in Messenger that gives people a more convenient and secure way to send or receive money between friends.
This feature will be rolling out over the coming months in the US.

Facebook updated the Community Standards for what to post and not to post. They Explain What Should Not Be Posted To The Social Network .
…(this update) give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.
The community standards offer guidance on — Keeping you safe; Encouraging respectful behavior; Keeping your account and personal information secure; Protecting your intellectual property; and finally how to Report Abuse on Facebook.
A letter from the community standards team explains the changes in greater detail.
Vine (Twitter) has updated their iOS app for speed.
Announced in a blog post on March 18th. The update address speed. “When you open Vine, you want to see great Vines, fast.”
When you open Vine, you’ll see that posts show up more quickly, even if you have a slower internet connection or if you’re offline, like on the subway or in airplane mode.
Adweek posted on the 19th of March, offering research into social media users habits.
Facebook users check in multiple times per day. Surprised? I’m not. Seeking new stimuli afflict many of us. And clicking on the blue “F” icon feeds that need.
Facebook is the top network for multiple daily checking. But, YouTube, Google+, Twitter and Instagram are equally as popular after Facebook.
Twitter is upping the the pressure on cyber bullies and online trolls by Making it easier to report threats to law enforcement
On March 17th, Twitter makes it easier for you to report threats that you feel may warrant attention from law enforcement. Here’s how it works: after filing a report regarding a threatening Tweet directed at you, you’ll see an option on the last screen to receive a summary of your report via email.

3) Content Marketing
Jay Acunzo, a guest blogger, details how great content is the result of a combination of many small details

In his post “Learn the Secrets Behind 5 Great Content Marketing Projects” The article offer five examples (no not secrets) of great content that resonates emotionally or intellectually with audiences. Liberty Mutual Insurance, Bonobos, Price Intelligently, Airbnb, and a slideshare presentation from Google’s Eric Schmidt.
So whether we’re creating blog posts, graphics, SlideShare presentations, podcasts, videos, or other projects, the devil is in the details.
4) Email Marketing

The article show us emotion has long been a critical facet of advertising; for decades, researchers have studied the impact of emotional connection on advertising efficacy. Email marketing is not excluded.

5) Tools
Buffer has new image creating tool named Pablo.
It allow people to Create Share-worthy Twitter Images very quickly. The blog post promises us ’10 ways to maximize engagement of your tweets’
The article walks us through the helpful and useful How-To methods to gaining more engagement, clicks, retweets, and replies on Twitter with a new tool called Pablo.
Why? We are visual people and getting images in-front of out Fans, Followers and Subscribers it your Mission Critical task.

Why care about visuals? On Twitter a image gets more engagement and more ReTweets. And that is good enough for me.
Your Homework for [Week 12]?
Think about how you can connect with your audience on a deeper emotional level.
The dead simple way is use the Pablo tool and create interesting visual graphics. I use Famous Quotes at BrainyQuote as a source of of well quotes and use royalty free images from Flicker and other sources and away I go.
