Toughest Digital Marketing Quiz

The results speak for themselves. Can you do better?

I put this test together so I say this is the toughest digital marketing quiz.

I say so because I’ve taken dozens and dozens of quizzes and a slim number are truly difficult. And not one of those dozens claims to be difficult. This quiz requires top-level shinny object syndrome cutting edge digital marketing knowledge.

You need to take this quiz because the digital and online marketing space is vast and requires competency in many fields.

Which online marketing area are you just competent and which one have you mastered?

Yea, the terms are used interchanged. Most people refer to anything done on the internet as online marketing.

Yet, online marketing is a subset of digital marketing. Online is the grey inside of the green in this venn diagram.

Online marketing is ‘content’ delivered via the Internet, whilst digital marketing refers to any marketing that exists on any electronic devices.
Wikipedia’s Digital Marketing definition says it’s the part of marketing that uses the internet and desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.

Only if you don’t want your business to die!

Interestingly, funeral homes, lawyers, accounts, hairdressers, and even the Vatican are online and have IG and Twitter accounts.

The very lowest bar a business must jump over is having a functional and current website.

Because a website is your owned media property. Your corner of the internet, your home address which is owned, operated and controlled by you.
Interestingly 4/5th, or 81% of people use Google to find a business.

Therefore, if your website is an *address not found, return to sender* then you are missing out on sales. Can you say I’m “I’m killing my business by a thousand cuts”?

Nope. It is all or nothing.

You are either 100% committed or you are not.

Hardest Digital Marketing Quiz and the Iceberg Effect

Professionals always make it look easy.

Stephen King, Hans Zimmer, Alfred Joseph Hitchcock, Usan Bolt, Jack Nicklaus, are all professionals.

I’m being meta. The *looks easy* is the key to being a pro. Each has mastered the fundamentals of their specialty.

*Looks easy* is the iceberg theory. “All” we *see* is the TT, IG, FB story success! We don’t see the failures, the struggles, the redo and repeat cycles, the mentoring, or the 10k hours of experience. Nope. Excellence is not achieved in a day.

Online and Digital marketing success is no different. Your website, email marketing, SMS marketing, Google My Business listing, Customer Reviews, Social Media Marketing, SEO, Website conversions, and advertising are all puzzle pieces you must put together to make success.

This toughest digital marketing quiz is just a 10 question highlight of a few thing of digital marketing.
